Signin to your Google account.
Go to New Chartroom and Make a Copy.
Up the top rename from "Copy of New Chartroom" to your desired name.
In the menu bar go Chartroom > Entries > New entries sheet.
5. You will see a message from Google asking you to authorise Chartroom's script to run. Click Ok.
6. You will see a message saying that Google wants access to your Google Account. Check Select All (n.b. if required go "Advanced" then "Go to Chartroom script (Unsafe)"), then scroll down and click Continue.
If all that fails with a vague "Something went wrong" message, open an incognito or private window and re-signin to your Google account. Revisit New Chartroom and start over.
7. On the New entries sheet dialog, enter the name of your event, say Test Triples.
8. You will see an Entries sheet names Test Triples Entries with 1 team. You would normally type or paste your entries but we'll get some random entries. Go Chartroom > Entries > Get random entries.
9. Enter 26t then hit Ok.
10. Go Chartroom > Entries > Initialise pool play.Â
11. Chartroom creates your Pool Play event on a new sheet Test Triples with 2 pools using the default pool policy, which is 3 rounds with 2 wins required to qualify.
12. You'd normally type in the scores by entering say 20-14 and hitting Enter, but we'll get random scores for each section by entering an r in any round.
13. Note the number of qualifiers. Go Chartroom > Lives play > Initialise qualifiers.
14. Get random scores by entering an r in round 1. Go Chartroom > Lives play > Advance Section.
15. Continue for the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final.
16. You have completed your first Chartroom event which will look something like this.
